Atlanta Baby Photographer | Happy 1st Birthday, Keegan!

My sweet nephew Keegan is 1! I know people always say this but WOW that year seriously flew by! I can hardly believe it. My sister put together a great party with every little detail planned out. We kept hearing from the guests that this was the best 1 year old birthday party they had ever been to. :) Maybe my sister has a future in party planning.

We love you so very much, Keegan, and we can’t wait to see what is in store for year 2!! xoxo

Atlanta Baby Photographer | The littlest sister

The last time I blogged photos of Charlotte she was just a wee little newborn. Now she is 8 months old!! I can’t even believe it. How cute is she? Those big eyes of hers just kill me. So sweet. The whole family is really quite smitten with her (especially her big brother).  I’m sure you can all see why. :-)

Happy Monday!! Enjoy your week everyone!

Atlanta Family Photographer | Mommy and Keegan.

I just adore the love between mommy and baby that shows in these images. That look he is giving her…so stinking sweet. I took these photographs this weekend of my sister and her baby while we were exploring a new park here in town. I am excited that I may have found a new location for shoots – such pretty light and surroundings! I’m hoping to get a chance to do more exploring there soon.

-Stay tuned :)

Atlanta Baby Photographer | Mr. 5 month old

I have been traveling a lot for work recently so have not gotten to spend much time with my cute, little nephew. I thought it was way past time to get him in front of my camera again and he was more than happy to oblige because he is awesome like that.

Enjoy!

San Diego Baby + Family Photographer | Little Man Liam

I had SO much fun photographing this little guy. He was so full of smiles, laughs and love for his mommy and daddy. This is by far one of my favorite ages to capture.

Thank you guys for spending your afternoon with me. I can’t wait until our next session!!

Atlanta Child Photographer | Brothers

Over memorial day weekend, my mom and I kept my 2 nephews while my sister and her husband took a trip to the Bahamas to celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary. (I know, I know. I’m the best sister ever. haha) I had gotten it into my head that on Monday evening I was going to take both of the boys out and get a photo of them as a surprise for their mommy and daddy. So, I did all of the necessary work to prepare Gavin (the 4 year old) and get him totally on board for what was going to occur that evening. We decided we would take a picnic and eat an early dinner at the park, take some photos, and if he was a good boy he would get to play for a bit. We pack everything up, get in the car and start on our way when low and behold…rain. Oh yes, rain. I was so disappointed. We went to the park anyway and had our picnic under a little pavilion. The rain got lighter and lighter and the sun came out more and more. Gavin looked me and said “G!!!! It stopped raining! I can play at the park now!” and I said ” Yes! And guess what else? I can take some pictures!” To which he replied, “um. I think I hear a storm coming.” HAHA. That guy, I swear. Always making us laugh.

Well, there wasn’t a storm coming and the boys were sweet and cooperative. Below are the images captured in the 10 minutes I was given that evening. :-) In almost every single photo of the boys together, Gavin is playing with the baby’s toes. It absolutely slays me. So amazingly sweet.

Atlanta Baby Photographer | Cooper

This was my second time having Cooper in front of my camera and I sincerely hope not my last. He was such a joy but definitely kept me on my toes – just like an 18 month old :-) Thank you so much for sharing your morning with me J + C. I can’t wait until next time.

15 unique comments gets the family a special gift. :-)

Atlanta Family Photographer | Urban Baby

I just got back from an awesome trip to Chicago to visit my friend, Julia. We went to school together at Brooks and have been the best of friends ever since. Even though it has been months since we last saw each other, we seem to pick up right where we left off.

We love to shoot together  and I remembered that my brother-in-law’s sister lived in Chicago with her husband and adorable little girl, Scarlett. I called them up and asked if they would like to meet us downtown for a little urban shoot! We had so much fun!!!!  I don’t get a chance to do much shooting in urban areas so this was a real treat. Chicago is filled with so many great textures and backgrounds.

Thank you so much Lindsay and Ryan for letting Julia and I play with Scarlett! Hopefully we can do it again sometime!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Atlanta Children’s Photographer | Keegan Oliver

This is my gorgeous nephew, Keegan, who is now a whole 8 weeks old!!! He is so scrumptious I can barely stand it. Look at that smile! I am pretty sure there is nothing sweeter than when a new baby starts to actually smile and respond to you. It is so pure and honest.

I am so looking forward to watching this guy grow and taking SO many more photos along the way.

Happy Wednesday everyone!!

The Happy Traveler | The Jackson 3

My friend, Carrie, with her girls.

These three adorable kiddos are the nieces and nephew of my good friend, Carrie Sandoval (who can be seen in the last photo on this post with her three girlies). I took these photos the day before I left California to head back home to Atlanta. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much out of two almost 4 year olds and an almost 2 year old but they totally surprised me! They are such fun, amazing kids and gave me the perfect going away present. :)

Thanks guys!
