Atlanta Baby Photographer | Trying to get back into the swing of things
Wow, it has been over 3 months since my last blog post. A lot has happened. At the beginning of October I crushed the fingers on my right hand in an accident. One finger had a severe compound fracture and the bone was completely crushed on another. I also had horrible lacerations. Three months, 8 pins, and 2 surgeries later here I am. I still do not have full use of my hand but with the help of therapy 3 times a week it is slowly getting better. I have just recently been able to press the shutter on my camera so hopefully I will be taking more pictures really soon. The accident, injury and long healing process forced me to move back home to Atlanta, GA. So, that is my current base of operations. I hope to make it out to California again really soon. I miss it, dearly. The next three sets of photos were the last photos I took before the accident. I love them. I was so excited because I had just started to shoot for me again and have fun with it. The last photo is one I took of my nephew last week. I admit, I am feeling pretty rusty. Hopefully that will improve
Enjoy!

San Diego Child Photographer | Sleeping Beauty.
Taken during Lily’s afternoon nap. I guess that is what she gets for napping so sweetly in a room with awesome light

Also: throwing these bath time photos from a couple weeks ago into the post.

Los Angeles Child Photographer | little Z and J

How stinking adorable are this little brother and sister duo? Just love em’ to bits. Had so much fun with them. We walked around LA and explored the Venice canals, took a trip to yogurtland and then back home for a challenging game of Memory. Little J kept trying to swipe our cards
That is what he is doing on the above right pic.. I caught him in action and caught that adorable face. Thanks for the day guys.
Idaho Family Photographer| Summer with friends

I just got back from a trip to Idaho to visit a very dear friend of mine and her family. I have known her two oldest girls (the blond and brunette together) since they were 2 and 3 years old. Now, here we are…almost 10 years later and she now has a ‘bonus’ daughter (the girl in the first photos) and a 20mth old. What a fun, gorgeous group they are huh? Unfortunately we didn’t get a photo of all 4 girls this time. Trying to schedule all of the girls to be in the same place at the same time proved to be pretty impossible. I guess I will just have to go back for another visit
2010 Senior – Brittany | Atlanta Senior Photographer

Sorry for the photo overload! I was thrilled with this session and had so much fun doing it. I have known Brittany since she was 4yrs old so I was super excited when her mom called and wanted to hire me to take her senior photos. We cruised all over downtown on a hot saturday afternoon and Britt was such a trooper and so much fun to work with. It was really easy to take her photo because she is such a gorgeous girl to begin with!! When the session was coming to an end her mom came by with her 3yr old sister and we had a little mini session with her. Such a gorgeous, fun little family. Thanks so much for the day guys. Britt is has been such a pleasure watching you grow over these past 13 years. I wish you all the best girlie! xoxo
Orange County Family Photographer | Party of 17

Wow. I am so very behind in my blogging. I hung out with my friend Amy during her session with this awesome family. Every year these guys meet up from all around the country for a family vacation here in Balboa! We took photos for a good 3 or 4 hours and the kids were such troopers…very minimal fighting, crying and whining. Truly a great group to work with!
Thanks so much for letting me tag along friend! I had a blast!
Southern California Photographer | Graduation week with the family.

Ok, my blog posts are getting way out of order. Sorry about that folks. I graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA on June 21. A lot of my family flew in from GA to celebrate with me ( my mom, sister, cousin and her family). I had a great time showing them around town and sightseeing. We also went down to the San Diego zoo where my little cousin Aidan got his face painted.
We spent part of the week in Oceanside and on my cousin’s last night in town we went for a boat ride and did some whale watching. Truth be told, we didn’t see any whales…but we did see a whole slew of dolphins!!! I just wanted to let me family know how much it means to me that they all came out to share that special day with me. I have the best family ever!!!
Atlanta Child and Family Photographer | Special Visit July 11 – July 28
Summer is here! Your children are happy, healthy, rested and tan. Sounds like the perfect time for portraits to me!! I am traveling to Atlanta and will be there and available for portrait sessions from July 11 – July 28. Please contact me ASAP to book your session and find out about special rates!
Speaking of traveling: A very good friend of mine moved to Australia over a year ago and they came back to California for a visit last week. It was so awesome to see them and meet their two new babies. When she left California she was still pregnant with these little ones and now they are almost a year old! Crazy how time flies. And because a blog post just isn’t the same without some photos here are a few I snapped of the twins and their 4yr old sister on our visit.

Southern California Baby Photographer | Miss R.

I photographed this cutie as a newborn and I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to get her gorgeous face in front of my lens again. Just check out those blue eyes! Thanks for a great morning guys, hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
