I am embarrassed by how long it took me to blog these images. These were taken during my last visit with my friend, Leah Zawadzki and her gorgeous family back in mid-April. The first one of Joe is now one of my all-time favorite images. As a lot of you know, I have struggled a lot with the D700 and when I took that shot and looked at the raw file it was almost perfect. I barely had to do any editing to it and I was so stoked – it felt like a turning point for me. I had gotten so comfortable with my Canon and was waiting for the time when I felt that way about the Nikon…I think I am finally there, or much closer at least. 🙂
