These lovely folks are the family of my good friend, Leah. These shots were taken on a visit to Southern California last September — and yes, I am just now getting around to sharing them.  Whoops! I am especially proud of one of the images of her sweet daughter, Kate, because it received an honorable mention in the January Image Competition for NAPCP! The competition was stiff with over 500 amazing entries! I can’t believe one of mine was counted as being among the best! I might have to treat myself to a pat on the back and a delicious margarita for that one! 😉

NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) is an amazing organization that I feel lucky to be a part of. It is absolutely filled to the brim with talented children’s photographers. Check out the full list of winners here.
