This is my niece, she was born when I was eleven years old.  I remember almost every detail about that day…what I was wearing, how I felt…so beyond excited and so completely full of love for her. I thought she was pretty much the coolest thing to ever happen to any 11 yr old.  Now, here we are…18 years later and I still think she is one of the coolest things to ever happen to me. You know the old adage ” You can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family”? Well, I really lucked out with her! 🙂
